Karen Uhl Vano has over seventeen years of experience designing and managing innovative visual communications. Karen has developed effective communication solutions for companies ranging from large corporations like Oracle to retail firms
and small companies such as Pottery Barn and Metro Furniture. Karen also has extensive experience leading and managing teams including writers, designers, programmers and multimedia specialists to deliver creative communication
so lutions on time with excellent quality.

Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and is also
a graduate of the Graphic Design and Visual Communication program at UC Santa Cruz. Karen is a member of the AIGA and the Graphic Artists Guild, and is a guest design lecturer at UC Santa Cruz. Karen's accomplishments include an article in How
featuring her design work for Pottery Barn as well as numerous design awards.
